Emanuel celebrates community with summer worship and picnic
The Emanuel community celebrated community in fellowship and community in Christ by holding its annual picnic in August 2010, with a Communion worship service preceding the picnic. It was a beautiful summer day and the relaxed and fun worship and picnic were the perfect end for a long, hot summer. Over 100 people of all ages attended and joined in the festivities, which included water balloon volleyball, horseshoes and bocce.
