Emanuel Lutheran Church holds many special events that are sponsored by the Christian Education Committee. There is an annual crafts workshop to develop Christmas craft gifts that are distributed to the shut-ins and others who cannot come to church.
Recently, in January 2010, Emanuel hosted a special program with local scientists, all experts in the field, on the topic of Environmental Cancer. The slideshow, left, highlights this event.
